Barbie™ Brings Her Summer Beach Party to “Stumble Guys” With New Barbie Dream Dash Level

The beloved game experience expands again with one of the most iconic brands in the world

Thursday, June 29, 2023 – Barbie® is bringing the summertime shine to the world of “Stumble Guys!” Starting in July, the brand-new Barbie™ Dream Dash level will give the “Stumble Guys” experience a glow up, as competitors run through colorful, vibrant obstacle courses. Stumble Guys, the massive multiplayer party knockout game pits up to 32 players online against one another in round after round of frenzied fun.

In this latest addition to the highly-social party battle royale game, Stumblers will find a dazzling beach party where Barbies are soaking up the sun by the pool. Players will dash through many twists and turns in pursuit of Barbie’s favorite items, reflecting her varied professions and passions over the years. But players must be quick and nimble to outmaneuver the competition while navigating the hazards of the ocean! Barbie will also enchant players with new emotes, animations, footsteps, and five new mesmerizing Stumblers.

“Stumble Guys” continuously evolves in dynamic ways, regularly adding new integrations with beloved IP to bring players fresh and novel experiences. The Barbie Dream Dash course marks the second collaboration between “Stumble Guys” and Mattel – in December 2022, the two teamed up for a Hot Wheels integration that transformed the game with a head-to-head driving mode. With this new activation, Barbie is poised to once again expand the “Stumble Guys” universe, infusing the game with the timeless charm, grace and confidence that has made her one of the most powerful icons across generations.

“Building on the success of Hot Wheels, it was an easy decision to collaborate with Scopely to bring Barbie to life in this new and unique way,” said Mike DeLaet, Global Head of Digital Gaming at Mattel. “Bringing her trademark magic and wonder to Stumble Guys, players can immerse themselves in a Barbie beach party like no other. This collaboration showcases the power of Barbie to make any world truly magical, and we can’t wait to see players Stumble with style.”

“The ‘Stumble Guys’ team loves surprising our players with new and unexpected experiences. After our successful integration of Hot Wheels with Mattel, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to work with one of the most iconic brands in toys and entertainment, Barbie,” said Jamie Berger, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Scopely. “In our newest collaboration, Barbie introduces a new realm of characters, humor, and imagination that will transport ‘Stumble Guys’ players to a competitive Barbie-themed world that they may not want to leave”.

Check out the new Barbie level in “Stumble Guys” on iOS, Android and Steam, and stay tuned for more exciting announcements as we continue to evolve and expand the battle royale party game.

Daniel Pickett

AFi founder and Editor-In-Chief Daniel “Julius Marx” Pickett has been around toys his whole life. The first line he ever collected was Mego’s World’s Greatest Super Heroes line back in the 70s. He has been surrounded by collectables ever since.

In 1999 he was confounded by a lack of information and news about some of his favorite toy lines he was collecting. Since he couldn’t find the information he decided to pursue it himself thinking other people might also be interested in the same news. He started writing a weekly column on the toy industry and action figure for a toy news site and in a years time he tripled the sites daily traffic with his updates, reviews and product features.

He built relationships with every major toy manufacturer and many sculptors, painters and mold makers. He grew his hobby into a world wide expertise that the industry has embraced.

In 2004 he teamed up with his toy buddy Jason “ToyOtter” Geyer and they created their own website www.ActionFigureInsider.com.

Daniel has been quoted in both industry and mass media press outlets. Over the years Daniel and AFi have been sought out as experts in the field. Daniel was regularly featured on “Attack of the Show” on the G4 network as the primary contributor to their “Mint On Card” segment, and our front page has been linked to from USA Today’s
“Pop Candy” Blog twice. Daniel’s content has also been featured on Bloomberg News, MSNBC.com, Time.com, The Wall Street Journal, The Saturday Evening Post, CNN.com, AssociatedPress.com
Wired.com, Fark.com, Boing-Boing, Gizmodo.com, Ain’t It Cool News, the Official
Star Wars blog, Geekologie, G4, CNet and Toy Fare magazine, among many
others. He has consulted on toy lines, books, documentaries and TV shows.

But all of that really just sounds snooty and “tootin’ his own horn” – the long and short of it is that Daniel loves toys and he LOVES talking about them.

We will be happy to hear your thoughts
